Beacon Brook Health Care Residents Surprised with iPads

Summary

Ten Beacon Brook Health Center residents in Naugatuck were surprised with iPads thanks to Twilight Wish Connecticut.

Ten residents at Beacon Brook Health Center were donated iPads in late December by Twilight Wish of Connecticut, whose work focuses on enriching seniors’ lives in the state. The technology will help the residents stay connected to loved ones, listen to music, and much more in the Naugatuck facility.

“A positive for everybody: for the people receiving them and knowing they’re going to be using them. For the people donating the money knowing they’re going to be helping some senior who doesn’t have an opportunity to do something or be a part of something,” Andrea Hoisl, the director of Twilight Wish of Connecticut, told NBC Connecticut. “Especially in facilities. A lot of times the world in facilities is very small.”
