Update from Administrator – December 22, 2021

Good afternoon,

In our continuing efforts to keep you informed of Covid status in our facility, we are sending this email to notify you that Beacon Brook had one more resident who tested positive yesterday.  At this time, we are awaiting further testing results from Griffin Lab.

As a reminder,

• All visits will need to be scheduled within the building to decrease transmission of the virus.
• Visitation for residents who have not been exposed will be held in the recreation room on the lower level, adjacent to the patio.
• All visitors will need to perform hand hygiene, wear a mask and social distance during visitation.
• While not recommended, residents who are on transmissions-based precautions or positive may still receive visitors, who be required to always wear appropriate PPE during visitation.

Please do not visit if you are experiencing any symptoms or have been exposed to someone who has Covid 19 in the prior 14 days, regardless of your vaccination status.
